RATES - Wild Olive House
|
The house can be hired on a self-catering basis,
with special rates for children. Adults can book for meals at Bartholomeus Klip
at the cost of R450 per person (price includes afternoon tea, 3-course dinner
and mid-morning brunch). Childminders can be arranged, or meals for the family
can be served at Wild Olive House. Rates include morning game drives, use of
mountain bikes and daily servicing of the house. Alternatively, guests can choose
the all-inclusive Bartholomeus Klip experience (details as for the main farmhouse). |

Game Drive Option One
Cost: R400.00pp, minimum 2 persons, maximum 10 persons. Cost includes brunch and a game drive, tea and coffee.

Cost: R500.00pp, minimum 4 persons, maximum 10 persons. Cost includes lunch and a game drive, tea and coffee.

Lunch Package
Arrive at around 12:00 noon, enjoy a pre-lunch drink followed by a three-course menu
served in the gardens or conservatory. R250.00pp (lunch only) Minimum 4 persons, maximum 10 persons. Excludes bar purchases.
Brunch Package
Arrive at around 9:30am, and enjoy a full brunch. R150.00pp (brunch only) Minimum 2 persons, maximum 10 persons. Excludes bar purchases.

High tea Package
Arrive at around 3:00pm, and enjoy an afternoon high tea with scones, savouries and
cakes, served on the veranda or in the lounge. R100.00pp (high tea only).
Minimum 2 persons, maximum 10 persons. Excludes bar purchases.
Game Drive Package
Enjoy a game drive in the 4 000 hectare reserve to see many of our special antelope,
plant and bird species. R250.00pp (game drive only). Minimum 4 persons, maximum 10 persons. Excludes bar purchases.
Dinner
Can be booked, by arrangement only. Cost R250.00 for a three-course dinner, including tea and coffee. Excludes bar purchases with the meal. Minimum 2 persons, maximum 10 persons.
All packages are subject to availability, and booking is required two days in advance. Sadly, no children under the age of 16 years allowed at the Main House.

BOOKING INFORMATION |
Bookings: To make a confirmed booking, we need your name, telephone number and credit card number. Reservations are not secure until the deposit has been paid, but a provisional booking will be held for 7 days (and released on the eighth day). Bookings made between seven and four days before arrival will be held for 24 hours, but bookings made less than three days in advance will not be held provisionally.

Transfers (one way, and for a maximum of 4 people): Bartholomeus Klip to
Cape Town R1650, to the Winelands R1650 and to Hermanus
R3300. Rates for transfers to specific destinations are available on request. For the ultimate travelling experience, and the best way to arrive at Bartholomeus Klip, consider a helicopter transfer from the V&A Waterfront - please email us for details.

Arrival time: Guests are welcome to arrive early, although we cannot guarantee the room until the check-in time of 3.00 pm (check-out time is 12pm).
We serve a light lunch by prior arrangement.
Sadly, no children under the age of 16 years allowed at the Main House.
Distances: Bartholomeus Klip is situated 115km from Cape Town, an hour and a quarter's drive in a north-easterly direction towards Wellington, which is 30km from the farm. Paarl is 35km, Franschhoek 75km and Stellenbosch 85km away.
Special-interest weekends, such as wine tasting, are arranged from time to time. Enquiries and suggestions are welcome.
Tour guides are accommodated in guides' accommodation at R600 a night, including all meals.
