Elandsberg Nature Reserve was created to ensure the protection of the plants, wildlife and the environment in this sensitive Renosterveld area. Please respect the environment and other users of the reserve at all times.
Please report any issues to Conservation Manager Bernard Wooding or to the reserve staff.
Wildlife always has right of way.
Do not damage or remove any flora, fauna, stones or bones.
Any game drives within the nature reserve are to be conducted by authorised individuals only.
Off-road driving is strictly prohibited. Use only existing trails and parking areas.
Observe the strict speed limit of maximum 40 km/hr.
Do not discard litter or cigarette butts anywhere.
Please recover any trash that is seen and remove it from the reserve.
Help nature to recover and respect any designated closed areas or areas under restoration.
Do not light fires.
Be aware that many of the plants and animals are Species of Conservation Concern. Do not handle them unnecessarily.
Avoid geo-tagging the reserve’s plants and animals (turn off location on phone when taking photographs).
