Summertime, and the living is easy,
Fields are golden, and the skies are so high.
Your worries fade, ’cause the farm life will please ye,
So hush, weary traveler, let your worries drift by.
One of these mornings, you’ll rise up and wander,
Through the wild plains, where the zebras play.
With gourmet feasts and views to ponder,
At Bartholomeus Klip, you’ll want to stay.
Summertime, and your heart feels lighter,
The air is pure, and the breeze whispers low.
At Bartholomeus Klip, the stars shine brighter,
A hidden paradise where your soul will glow.
Thereianthus elandsmontanus only flowers for a short while after a fire and then hides again. Discovered and described in 2011 by botanist John Manning and found only on Elandsberg, this plant is considered to be endangered.
