NEWS FROM BARTHOLOMEUS KLIP | VIEW IN A WEB BROWSER

Dear {name} - While winter is reluctantly withdrawing in hibernation, still throwing the occasional punch and spoiling the occasional outdoor lunch, spring is welcomed by the annual royal carpet of veld flowers in various colours and spectacular designs.

We have many options for you to enjoy all of nature's spring magic from the first row: full-board, bed & brunch or self-catering.

Meanwhile, the BK Deckhouse has decided it needs a life of its own, with its own vibe and its own events. Join us on Sundays for lunch, or on Tuesday and Fridays for supper. And of course, you don't want to miss out on our special pop-up food fanfare, a unique culinary performance by resident chef Louise Gillett at a secret location in the Elandsberg Nature Reserve ...

[ SHEEP AUCTION ] 22 August was a big day at BK. Farmers from all over the region came to inspect, size up and offer money for BK's prize-winning Merino sheep, under the watchful eyes and rattling roars of seasoned auctioneers, while the Bartholomeus Klip hospitality staff provided hearty and sweet snacks. A Merino sheep's worth is determined by a fine balance between the size and the quality of the wool they produce. For many years, BK's sheep have been bred with the aim of establishing that perfect balance, under the watchful and devoted eye of Abraham Cloete (pictured here with his family) | + View more pictures
